"Helpful when I was tired of searching around"
I was getting a little burnt out trying to find someone for our party, so I appreciated that GigSalad had plenty of local vendors in one place instead of making me dig through a bunch of random sites. I could compare prices, read reviews, and get a feel for people before reaching out, which made the whole thing feel a lot less overwhelming. It was straightforward overall, and I’d use it again.

"Pricing was a little confusing at first"
I wasn’t totally sure about some of the prices until I reached out to the vendors, which was a bit frustrating. That said, everyone I messaged was helpful, so it wasn’t a huge deal in the end...

"I booked a sax player through GigSalad..."
I booked a sax player through GigSalad for my dad’s birthday, and I’ll admit I wasn’t totally sure how it was going to go. But everything ended up being smooth, and he even showed up about 15 minutes early, which definitely helped me relax a bit.
The messages were clear, and it was easy enough to go back and check the booking details. I was kind of skeptical since I hadn’t used it before, but I can’t really complain. It did what I needed it to do, and I’d probably use it again

"Professional performer, but booking still took some effort"
I booked a performer through GigSalad for our small company party, and overall it went smoothly. He showed up early, looked nice, and had his setup handled without needing much from us, which I appreciated because I’d already spent enough time going back and forth getting everything arranged.

The show started on time, and he was polite with everyone, even when the room got a little loud. It felt professional but still relaxed. I’d probably use GigSalad again, though I do wish the whole planning process didn’t feel like one more thing on my to-do list.

"Bully tactics used on artists and unhelpful"

Arbitrarily suspended my account due to an unforeseen cancellation and demanded payment of the gig cancellation to reactivate account. You need to self-advocate against this company. Musical artists already make very low income and they have used bully tactics. Reported incident to BBB plus litigating for damages.
